Got my Roku hooked up through my Onkyo HT-S5400 along with my BD player and then I switched walls but for some reason I am getting glarring off of things like the screensaver clock on the Roku and any big white lettering. I don't have hot spots just the glare off the lettering.

I have the LG pa70g and its at or about 120" projected onto a gray wall.

Is it my wall?

Is the wall paint gloss, semi-gloss or flat? What color and type of paint was the wall that it was on previously? The LG PA70G at 700 lumens is not a particularly bright projector. Is it in bright or eco mode? Perhaps MississippiMan will chime in here with his paint expertise.

On the same wall. The finish is gray eggshell.

Not sure if I have it on max energy setting but will check.

According to different manufacturers eggshell can range from 26 to 40 percent reflectivity. So this may be part of the problem, not sure.

If the problem persists you should shoot MississippiMan a personal message. He would have a better idea of what may be happening.

Might want to invest in a screen.. Or visit the DIY screen forum and find a custom paint mix that will work better.
