Tried rebooting the thing a couple of times, but it seems like the whole screen is filtered purple colored mad.gif

I saw this repair company online: Mendtronix http://mendtronix.com/in-warranty-and-out-of-warranty-repair.html

They look pretty legit and sell lots of LX45's refurbished. Anybody have any idea of the service or has tried them before? Please let me know soon, or if you have any other suggestions for a quick fix. Thanks!

If you want to post a photo of the image (preferable solid white, black, red, green, and blue ones-- those are the projector's primary colors so would help with pinpointing if the issue is optical or not and if so what the failure might be) I might be able to give you some insight into what is wrong with it.

When you say Purple, Are you talking about lots and lots of purple dots or is the entire image covered with a purple hue? Take a picture of a google page and post it here. It could be that you have dirty optics. This would cause purple specks all over the screen.
