If theare is just one that dont have this lines it means that the athers are deffective.....

If you have a test dvd, make it show the pure color or grey screen and find out what makes you feel that lines.Or you should post the screen shot for it.I have tw100 too, and I don't think which you say is happening on my tw100.

BTW,I found that lines on screen with my Mitsubishi sa51u,and when I take it return to the sales,he said,'I don't think I can see any lines on it'.

muuuun,it looks like my old Mitsubishi sa51u,I think you can show this to your dealer, and ask him try another tw100 to make some compare. If the other tw100 have no this line, then you can ask for the new one.

and,if you can't change the tw100,not so good,IMO,you can try to use avia to set black/white balance,it can help you to reduce these lines.

Good luck.

It is a typical problem for some LCD projectors. I've seen 4 AE100 and 2 TW100 have such vertical banding. It seems that Epson panel is more serious than Sony panel. In my memory, Sony and Sanyo are not so serious.

That's looks like vertical banding. A problem that is pretty normal with LCD-projectors and very distracting. I got rid of the vertical banding on my Hitachi by adjusting a setting in the servicemenu. I have a pretty long thread in the over $5000 forum.

How I got rid of the vertical banding:

Hi coupe333,

It's the same, just flipped horizontally so you may think the banding seems reducted a bit. That's also why I think it's somewhat source dependent...

regards,

Thanks to everybody!!...But i don't thin is source dependent because you can see these lines even with the internal pattern generator of the proj.
