Hi all,

I recently ventured into the projector realm with an Epson 5020UB and an Accuscreen 100 inch White Matte 1.0 screen. The issue I'm having is that near the center of the screen in about a 20 inch diameter there is an area where you can see some sort of texture when i place a white image in that area. It is very distracting and I didn't know if this was normal with projectors being a little more "hot" in the middle of the screen or what. Is this normal? Is anyone else experiencing this now or in the past?

Thanks for the input.

I haven't seen any "hot spotting" issues posted by others, and the 5020 is pretty bright. Did you try placing some other white material/paper, over the screen in that area, to see if the effect changes?
