I have been reading and reading on this site..SO MUCH good material on here!!!! I was dead set on getting the Epson 8350 and then I found the Benq 1070 might be a contender as well!! I am looking for something portable because I would like to take it camping or use at my house as well. At my house I live in a neighborhood but the back of my house faces the common land so its pretty dark and my house blocks the street lighting. I would say 3-5 foot candles in the backyard. I am looking at getting the 144" diagonal screen from www.campchef. I also have about 30-35 ft from the screen to where I could put the projector. With that being said....what should be my choice????

You want to project onto the back of the house? The Benq has lots of brightness, but has a shorter throw distance and limited placement flexibility, compared to the Epson. Both good pj's in that price range, you just need to narrow down the requirements.
