Just got the LG PA70G and want to ceiling mount it. On a chat with LG tech support I asked if they had a recommended ceiling mount for this projector & was informed it could not be ceiling mounted, only mounted on a tripod. I think he's nuts or even less tech than me. Anyway, can anyone please confirm that this can be ceiling mounted, and recommend a ceiling mount name/brand that would work well with this. Thanks

I have no idea. Try asking the poster in that thread.

Or check out my post #310 in this same thread, for a budget "Home Depot" ceiling mount tongue.gif.

The PA70G definitely can be mounted from the ceiling, not sure what the tech support was talking about. On the underside of the projector, there is one screw hole that will accept a standard tripod screw thread (that is what I am using to hold my projector to my home-made ceiling mount). There are also 3 or 4 smaller threaded holes which could be used, but not sure how well those line up with standard ceiling mounts.

Otherwise, you just have to change the setting in the projector software, to project the image flipped vertically and horizontally.

Thank you Indio22. What a great idea for a budget mount. Think I'm going to work on that. Thanks again.
