Hello, I am trying to decide between the Benq 1500, Optoma HD25, Optoma HD 25LV. Picture quality, 3D and lag time are my primary concern. I already have the Optoma HD25, but the 3D shows a bit too dark, so I wanted to go with the Optoma HD 25LV. After reading up further on the HD 25LV, I discovered the Benq 1500 and it seem to be getting a lot of positive reviews.

I am confused as hell; I don’t know what to get to replace my HD25. I am to return the HD25, but I don’t know what to go with. I have been reading and reading and I am just getting confused more and more. Can anyone guide my along here please.

When in doubt go to the manufacturer's web site, click on "support" or "contact us" and see what you get.
Also the BenQ specs are not as bright as the HD25-LV.

Thanks for responding, however its not the specs that I am having an issue with. Its just how they perform from a review and/or personal experience point of view. For example no spec would have said that the 3D on the HD25 would be so dark, its when I experienced it I realised.

So I am just trying to figure out which of the above would give me the best 3D experience, along with picture and low lag times.

As far as "too dim" is concerned, you didn't say anything about your projection surface. That will influence brightness as much or more than anything else.

If everything else seems acceptable, you might look into a higher-gain screen/surface.

The quality and specs of the 3D glasses can make a difference as well,
