I'm looking at maybe the epson 5020 or 6020 for a future finished basement. If mounted on the back wall my throw would be around 15' from lense to screen (could be a bit less then that). Would I be ok with that distance on a 120 inch 16:9 screen or would I be better off mounting it from the celing a little closer?

Thanks in advance!

Should be fine. That's just a bit closer than the mid point zoom range for those projectors to a 120" screen.

Projection Calculators put it in the 18FL range.

That's what I thought. I did look at a calculator but I wanted to hear it from a person. I wasn't really sure if I was looking at the results right or not.

Thanks!
