I just got my 120" Elite fixed frame screen mounted today to go along with the Benq w1070 that I ceiling mounted a few days ago. Lovvvvvve the screen and the projector is pretty nice too.

I've never watched a movie in 3D so I'm not exactly sure what the image should look like. I have a pair of the 144 hz glasses that work with the projector. The problem is when I play the movie in 3D Full HD, the image looks.....

Well I can only describe it as if I were crossing my eyes and looking at the screen. I can't really read any of the print on the menus either. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks in advance.

Projector: Benq W1070 1080p 2D/3D
Screen: 120" Elite fixed frame
AVR: Onkyo TX-NR809
Mains: Klipsch RF-62ii x 2
Center: Klipsch RC-62ii
Surrounds: Klipsch RS-42ii x 2
Subs: Dual Hsu VTF-15H's
Sonos-Play 5 and Play 3
Sony Playstation 4
Microsoft Xbox One

Sounds like your sync polarity is reversed for your glasses. Check your projector's 3D menu for a "reverse sync" or similar control.

So you didn't have to switch anything up on the projector?

No i have a PS3 hooked up thru a dennon 2113 to the benQ 1070 and all i do is pop in the 3d movie and it detects it automatically.

I started with the Sainsonic 144hz and then switched to the monoprice 144hz versions, much better with the red flash and to me the contrast ratio .

Thanks. I believe I got mine working but the flashes are a pain to deal with. I wear glasses already so wearing two pairs gets annoying really fast.
