I hate to come right out and say this but if you are trying to use the sound system in a projector you shouldn't have the projector in the first place. There really isn't any other way to put this! You should use the line out from your source and hook it through the line in, aux or video in jacks on your home stereo. If you don't have a home stereo buy a boom box and use that. - Bohanna

Using the sound from your projector is like putting together a full-fledged sound system for your home theater--separate components,, monoblocks, etc--together with an old black and white 13 inch surveillance monitor to watch your movies on. It just doesn't make sense, the only exception being if you're having an outdoor screening, and even then I would use a boombox or something like that as Bohanna already suggested.

What are you using to feed an image to the projector? What kind of audio outputs does it have? Tell us that and we'll go from there.

Its even worse outside. No one will hear it beyond 2 feet away and even then it will be quiet as a mouse with no lows or highs.- Bohanna
