So my projector is flickering. The picture I should say, and it will go away for the most part if I put it on economic. Wasn't sure if maybe it was because the blu ray player was on 1080p and the projector is on 720p. Also I don't know if the projector can install updates or not. I am still learning lol

Some projectors struggle if you don't feed them native resolution. Try setting your blu ray player to output to 720p to see if solves the problem.

Is the light flickering if you look through the air vents? Sounds like your lamp may be failing. How many hours are on the lamp?
td

its the picture/light. There's no warnings about lamp life or anything, I will be home later and give that a try niggenz. Will keep you posted

My guess is The lamp is breaking in and forming an arc path. This happens a lot on new lamps. Leave it on economy for about a month and then switch to full power.. If its under warranty i would call the people you bought the lamp from and ask them what to do take notes and get a case number so If it doesn't correct itself you can then send it back.

I finally took my screen and projector and set it up downstairs and just now tested it out. It appears to have stopped but it usually starts at random times during movies. Gonna watch iron man 3 on blu ray tomorrow and that should truly tell me lol thanks guys

Well I watched iron man 3 on blu ray tonight and no flickering to report. I guess changing the blu ray players output resolution really helped lol
