I am looking a for a DLP projector that can be rear shelf mounted so that usually requires lens shift and I would also like it to have a VESA 3D jack. Any ideas?

I believe the BenQ W7000 meets your needs. Double check on the VESA port, but I thought it may have one. Otherwise, you may need to consider a JVC RS46. It's LCOS instead of DLP, but it's a great tech and has the VESA 3D port on it.

The optoma HD8300 has everything your looking for. The JVC is not known for great 3D. MSRP is $5000 but its down to around $2500 now

Good info on the HD8300. Yeah, the W7000 does not have a 3D VESA port.

I will say that I've seen some DLP projectors and the RS46 from JVC and I was not able to see much, if any difference between the JVC and the DLP model. But, if looking for DLP specifically, then that Optoma model certainly fits the bill.
