Hey Guys,

Just wondering how people have connected their projector up?

Whether through amp, switchbox, splitter or just put the hdmi in to wherever whenever needed

As i want to connect to my sky box, ps3 and bluray / dvd player?

Any suggestions welcome

Generally, the most common and best way would be to connect all your gear to your A/V receiver, then connect HDMI to the projector. Use the best connection type (HDMI or similar digital) and get a good universal remote control to run the show.

While not everyone does this, it is about the only way I've seen a good system installed. Other than some funky setup, I'm not sure why anyone would do it any other way.

A really cheap method would be to use active speakers connected directly to a source or a projector, or an outboard switcher. This can get a complete system installed for not much cash, but won't deliver great audio to go with the great video.
