I purchased an optoma hd131xe online from amazon, during a quick travel to the usa.
I don't had time to test it immediately, since i traveled back to Brazil one day after the delivery.
For my surprise when i turned on the PJ two horizontal lines appeared.
I will try to contact optoma support here in Brazil, but i'm not sure if the warranty is valid here.
Anyone knows how to fix it? Is there a dmd chip issue ?
I read something about oxidation caused by salted air during a ship transportation, in this case all i need to do is remove the mainboard and clean all connections with an anti oxidant. Can it solve my problem?
This is a brand new optoma model and i'm not sure if anyone here in brazil is able to solve this issue, so please help me.

Unfortunately I can't help you out with a technical fix, but curious what the color of the two "horizontal lines"? Are they exactly one pixel high each? Where are they on the overall picture i.e. towards the middle, equally spaced etc?
How was the projector purchased, online or at a store?
What source are you using, and have you tried both HDMI inputs?
Hopefully Optoma can help you with the warranty in Brazil!

Optoma doesnt have a worldwide warranty, i confirmed it calling to Optoma USA
The optoma authorized assistence here in brasil, would charge me 60 dollars just to try to discover the issue, and i decided to open the PJ remove the mainboard and just reassemble it.
For my surprise it worked, and now the PJ is working fine.
