So, its been marked down and I think it's making me change course here.

It's going into our basement with no windows I might add, just some lamps, so not too much lighting to worry about.

I was thinking about the BenQ 1070, but now I'm thinking going this way.

I would like to have decent or better then decent blacks, and the Mitsu is suppose to be great with skin tones (another thing that drives me nuts when wrong)

I have not one clue what I am doing here as far a projectors goes, T.V.'s..yup I know my way around, but this world is new to me

Has anyone seen, used, or own one?

Just wondering what their take is on this unit

Thanks in advance!

Bought mine through groupon because of low price,it's installed in a light controlled basement room with dark walls, ceiling and floor, projector mounted 13' back onto a 120" screen.came with 2 year warranty,2pairs of 3d glasses and 3d emmiter the picture is fantastic even with a few lights on.

I've been watching that groupon, that includes glasses and emitter also?

Didn't see that in there.....that sweetens the deal a lot!

I don't know how much was it on groupon.
999 for projector on BH (no tax, free shipping).
Genuine emitter for $94 (plz look it up using Google).
2 glasses for ~60 (again, Google it plz)

All in $1155. Not bad at all no matter how you look at it.

but best buy you will have to pay tax, most likely...

also, I spoke with bh customer rep, he said it includes the 3d emitter, which is another $100 value... I just wonder if he is really correct or just trying to make the sale frown.gif

I just got a reply from Mitsubishi support, they do provide warranty for BH as long as it is sold new, not refurb.
