I like to believe, some here must have a hairy friend waving its tail somwhere...
They must be fed, and they need a walk in the woods or around the corner.

What do you do? Turn off your projector and hometheater, or do you let everything burn at full speed when walking that friend of you, wagging so eagerly to get your attention ?

Unless I will be gone for more than a few hours I always leave it ON.

Smart enough to know better, to old to care

Sorry about that hairy question ....

No, you see I am concerned about that lamp. Its so expensive. It will cost me so very much, about half of my montly earnings.

How do we conserve the lamp to last a long, long time ?
Do you always have a spare one at home ?
How many weeks do a lamp last ?

Leave it on when you walk the dog. Turning the lamp on and off puts more strain on it and leaving it on for a short time.

You could set up the projector to turn on when it is connected to a doggie treadmill. The dog gets on the treadmill that activates the projector to project a video image of walking at the park.

Or you could schedule your walking and viewing. Walk early, before tonight's movie session.
