I was talking with someone selling a used LCD projector and they said it has a vertical line on the left side of the screen.

Is this an entire column of dead pixels?

I haven't seen the projector yet, but I am curious if anyone has seen this before and if it is a common occurrence with LCDs?

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

I think I remember somone saying they got a projector off ebay with a row of dead pixels. He took it apart and cleaned the ribbon conections on the lcd panels and it fixed his problem. I believe the LCD's works in a matrix so you could give it a try.

Thanks Mypenname.

I thought it strange that an entire row would go bad at the same time.
