Hello Everyone,

I recently hooked up my Mitsubushi X490U LCD projector to a Denon 2800mkII DVD player. I noticed that shadow detail and blacks are a very hazy light greenish black and not black. Is there anyway to get rid of the hazy greenish black color? Has anyone with the X490U had this problem before? Is this a symptom of a contrast challenged projector (specs say 400:1)? Am I doing something wrong?

I recently borrowed a new HITACHI with PURPLE BLACKS. Asked for help, one helped........
I suspect that you will need to get into the projector's service menu to fine adjust R G & B to achieve correct colour balance.
Good luck.
