I sold mine 3 weeks ago for $1350 w/160hrs on it. Purchaser was pleased and the unit was working great with no pixel or coloration problems.

One thing to remember is that all the people in the world don't read this forum, so many people that seem to be paying to much for a projector from our perspective really aren't from theirs. It doesn't mean that they are getting cheated. Think about what your perspective of projectors/values would be with out a forum like this.

That's why it shouldn't surprise forum members when they can't get a premium (or at times an average price) for their used gear in the avs or home theater fourm classifieds.

I just bought an AE100 for a thousand bucks. This is my 3rd projector in 2 years (LP340 and LT150 were the others) and the most least expensive. I must say, I am impressed. But if I were to eBay this thing, I would probably get $1400 easy :).

Projector: Optoma HD131Xe
Receiver: Onkyo TX-NR809

Wow, $1000, that was cheap. Or should I say inexpensive. I paid just over $1500 delivered for my AE100 from PJ in August. The exchange rate had just gone up and it was before the AE200/300 news. At least I got the post July manufactured new power supply. I too could sell this on Ebay for about what I paid and put the money toward an AE200 or 300 in a few to six months. By then, the early-adopters will have given us the skinny on the AE200 & 300 performance.
