Firstly, the information I've picked up here has helped me narrow down my projector list to the PT-AE300 or HS10 (just like a few others around here), so thanks to all!

Being in Europe, I still need to confirm whether they can accept PAL progressive, and if so in which flavour- 576p, 525p etc?

This is why I'm asking: my long term aim would be to pick up an ISCAN Pro and link this between DVD (interlaced output Arcam DV88 if this makes a difference) and projector. Specs for the Iscan state it outputs PAL progressive at 576P through component output- whould these projectors be OK with this?

Would this be any different if I connected via RGB?

Hi ...

I'm also a new member finally coming on Pj experience.
Just as you said i'm also considering this two pj ... and my list was very long at first :D.

Finally i think i would prefer the hs10, but i got some throw ratio problem with it and so i will probably have to buy the panny.

My pj will infact have the lens at 13,5' from the screen and i'd like to get a 94" width (not diagonal) image on 16:9.

Do somebody tell me for sure i could get this kind of throw ratio from the Sony?
