Projector install help.

Hello everyone. Im trying to install my new w1070, but im not sure if all the measurements (screen to projector, ceiling to projector, etc.) Are measure from the center of the lense or not. Any guidance would be great. Thanks.

ANYTHING to do with the IMAGE is associated with the spot that it emanates from the projector .. so YES the lens is the start point. Lens gets centered with the screen.. this is sometimes over looked with an offset lens. Most projectors I have worked with in the past have a fairly good explanation in the users manual. Not sure about the W1070. There is an EXTENSIVE users thread on the projector, if you are in a hurry (We always are with new toys) you may want to do some searches in that thread for specific questions that may come up as you proceed as sundays can be slow on forums.

Why not tell us your screen size and your expected locations. This will help us to tell you if you are doing things properly.

All measurements are from front center of lens. Give yourself several inches of room to work with if you can in adjustable directions. Make sure the lens is dead center (left/right) on the screen, and the lens should be several inches above the top of the screen if ceiling mounted, and the projector must be upside down.
