Doubt about HDMI board replacement or a new projector

Two years ago I bought an Optoma HD33(or HD25e, I don't really remember) but I had some electrical problems at my house and some devices are not working anymore, including my old projector(but only the HDMI inputs, I can still use it with a VGA cable) and now I'm looking for a new <$1000 projector. Do you have any idea if it is easy and cheap(and if worth it) to fix it? And about new projectors: is the BenQ W1075 still the best option to go under $1000? Does it worth to pay the difference to get the BenQ HT1075(+$100) or the BenQ HT1085ST(+$200 for a new one or +$65 for a warehouse deal)? I have a 150" screen and a not so dark room, the Optoma used to work there and I was very happy with it. Thanks.
