Question Projector Mount (Tall ceiling)

Hi all,

I am mounting a Benq W600+ to a pretty high ceiling.

We tried this mount, but it ended up being impossibly hard to install even with a ladder and would never really stay in the proper position even once mounted.

Mount:
Code:
Pyle Home PRJCM3 Universal Telescoping Mount
https://www.amazon.ca/PYLE-HOME-PRJCM3-Universal-Telescoping-Adjustment/dp/B00EVVNZWE/
I am looking for something *quality* to replace it that I wouldn't worry about such issues. I'm willing to spend the money and get it right this time (that mount came out pretty cheap).

Additional detail, we originally tried, but the height was vastly insufficient:
Code:
Atdec TH-WH-PJ-FM Telehook Universal Projector mount
https://www.amazon.ca/Atdec-TH-WH-PJ-FM-Telehook-Universal-Projector/dp/B000BSFY48/
if I had to guesstimate, I'd say up to 10ft from the ceiling, but I am not sure. As this is not for my place, I am not able to find out until the end of weekend, but lets presume that the mount I mentioned the first time was sufficient height and work from there. It may even be a good mount, but it was missing parts & no manual whatsoever (in the package or online), and we're not professionals plus it's our first time ever doing it.

If anyone can give me some suggestions, that would be greatly appreciated.

P.s. mods if this is the wrong forum, I have no idea which one this should go in / it's not obvious to me if there is a correct place

Chief has a lot of stuff on eBay as they are often used in corporate installations which are removed, then parts are sold at a good price.

Here is their vaulted ceiling adapter (if you need to mount on an angle)...

You can see just how burly it is built. It is designed to work with standard 1.5" steel tubing. This tubing is available from Home Depot, and they can often cut it to length for you at the store. (measure carefully!)

This is the best deal I saw on eBay right now...

The mounting plate would need a bit of modification to fit your projector I expect, but the price is excellent (well under half). About an hour of drilling and screwing some pieces together and it will fit your specific projector perfectly. Yes, you would need a drill.

This model is also a good deal, and should work with your smaller projector, if you can handle the color. It includes the universal adapter bracket, which is awesome...

This is what I would call the best one, but it is not a great price on eBay...
