I have a RCA DTC-100 and an HTPC with a Radeon 9500 pro card. When I watch a HDTV show the image on the screen seems more bright than an image from my HTPC. I've tried all sorts of adjustments with the overlay on the HTPC. I just can't seem to get the image to match up in brightness.

My projector is 800x600 so the resolution is about the same whether from DVD or HDTV. Has anyone else noticed this or found a way to bring the HTPC up to level of the RCA DTC-100. Is it a voltage difference?

HTPC. Onkyo 636, Polk audio speakers and Klipsch sub. KHO-7 Outdoor speakers. Homeseer homecontrol over Z-wave.
