The LT-240 manual seems to indicate that this adapter for component video has female RCA connectors, but most places that sell it seem to indicate that they are male.

Also, does this cable alone allow the use of R, G, B as well as Y, Pb, Pr?

Finally, if you are using equipment that can output component as either RGB or Y, Pb PR, which would be the better choice? My component cables will have to be about 25 feet.
