I'm comming into a LC 4331 pj, from a side job I'm doing. I'm trying to gather some info about it. I've performed several searches on AVS and the internet, without much success. I'm thinking it's a LCD, find lots of replacement bulbs online for it, but no info. It's not working, and I was wondering if it'd be worth my time and money to repair it, or just buy the X1 I'm looking at. One of my friends said it might just need a bulb, due to a possible auto shut off, once bulb time is met. Is there any truth to this? Any help or links you guys could offer me would be great. I think I'm about to make the switch from CRT to digital. Don't tell the guys in the other forums!!! :)

This doesn't look like a bad projector, but if it needs a new bulb ($400), I might just sell it (more of a business projector than HT since contrast is very low) and go with the x1 or benq 6100.

This is the same projector

Thanks a bunch gwlaw99. You definately came up with some useful links there! I really appreciate your time. As of right now, I don't know what's wrong with it. It was used in a local bar here in california, so no smoke, and now they just said it doesn't work anymore. So I get it if i advise them on which to purchase and run an install for them. Not too bad of a deal huh?! Thanks again so much for your time and effort, you really helped me out!
