During a move I lost my power cord for my Infocus IN72.

Infocus doesn't ship replacement parts to Canada and online retailers (selling the "official" A/C cord) are charging up to $50

I've been told I can just use a generic cord but was told to make sure it's the same - or better - AWG/gauge.

Would someone be kind enough to take a quick peek at your power cord on your IN72 and let me know what is written or inscribed on the side of the cord.

I don't want to have a fire on my hands and really want to use this machine this weekend.

Thanks!

A standard desktop computer cord (IEC C13 plug) should be fine for your PJ. The IN72 pulls maybe 2 amps and the standard PC cord can handle 15 amps so you shouldn't have any fire issues with it.

ditto.

I have ceiling mount and put outlet in ceiling next to it. I found a 12" cord that works perfectly.

Its not just a hobby, its a 401K reduction plan.
