bguzman what are you using for a scaler just the Sim2 or an external one?

Those are some really nice screen shots.

Thanks,

CD's - I had a list of 8...all 8 were between $5-$15 more expensive at BB;
HD DVD player - $100 more at BB;
HD DVD's - About half were the same price and half more expensive at BB (none were cheaper than at FS);
LCD's and plasmas - We only took note of around 4...2 were the same price and 2 more expensive at BB.

What boggles my mind is that it's the SAME company yet their prices are often radically different with BB seemingly always more expensive. The only explanation I got (from the salesguy) was that things look like a good deal at FS when people see the price at BB. Oh yeah...he also told me "Don't worry, we'll price-match FS." -- WTF...you're the SAME company using the same warehouse and a shared inventory system!!! How could they not have the same price!

Oh yeah...each of the 8 CD's was significantly cheaper at Walmart.

You mean your wife would not be offended if you bought her a TV

Just the source, A3 or PS3, connected via HDMI through my AVR, Sony 910, 13.5' from my DIY Designer White (DW) laminate screen. I like it too.

So just to be clear if I remember you said your sources are set to 1080i and you have a 720p Sim2 Domino H30 so the projector is scaling to 720p. Does your Sony receiver do anything to the video besides repeat the signal?

Thanks,

Thanks,

My Sony just passes along the video to the Domino 30H. Recently I have been experimenting with my source settings going back and forth from 1080i and 720p. The differences are near indistinguishable with my PS3 and A3 but with my cable box 1080i was noticeably sharper.

Hi Guys I'm new to this forum. I was looking to buy a big screen, but after reading the
trouble people were having with them I decided not to.
Was going through this forum and found this thread...WoW what a pleasent surprise.
I would have never guessed they would put out this great of a picture. I'm sold!!
If I may suggest for us newbies that you also list the distance your projecter is from the
screen, and also the size of the screen you are using.
Thanks
