I have been out of the loop for a while and its time for a new projector. The 10809's are still too rpicey for me. So, currently, whats the best 720p projectors for the price?
I think when I checked last, I was looking at the hd1000, hd70 and hc1500

UPDATE: I am using this in a dark room with No ambient light. Also, my distance of lens to screen is about 17 feet and the screen is 16:9, 8 feet wide. If I go to a cofee table instead of celing mount the distance becomes more like 13 feet with a few feet to play with.

go with the hc1500 if you don't suffer from RBE.

btw, check out this thread...

Lots of great options at that price point.
So many that many who choose less then the best option are extremely happy and will argue for their choice.

I suspect after a bit of research and using a calculator to insure fit/screen size it will be difficult to not be happy with the final result.

happy hunting.

Here are my suggestions. If it fits your room and you don't mind the higher bulb cost the Infocus 7210 is a steal.
