Hi All,

I was wondering if someone could review the Ubuntu 10.04 dmesg and lsmod output below to see if you spot anything wrong with my DViCO FusionHDTV5 USB Gold tuners.

I am running Mythbuntu 10.04 and have tried setting it up very carefully using multiple setup instructions on wiki's, forums, and websites. This is my first time using MythTV.

It appears both my DVICO tuners are loading OK since I can see the blue lights turned on from the bottom.

Issue: I cannot get MythTV to scan for any channels or watch TV.

I tried scanning channels with both tuners, multiple cable lines, selecting multiple cable signal fomrats, nothing. If I plug in the cable line into a TV, all is well on the TV.

Does anything jump out at you from below?

please help, thanks.

Thanks,
Fabian.

Your tuners appear to be properly initialized. I guess my question would be are you sure that your cable channels aren't encrypted? Are you running it through an STB when you check it on the TV?

I've never set up any USB cable tuners, so that's all I've got for you, sorry.

EDIT: ALSO -- do you have Schedules Direct properly set up?

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
hec SECC 7K09 Micro ATX Case with 270W FLEX Power Supply (anyone with experience with this one?)

About how long do the SATA cables need to be with the HEC case to reach the drive bays?

I'm planning on getting the same mobo + case (version with the 300W non-FLEX PSU).

Thanks!
