Can 5 watts of electric play 1080p films? There maybe a new Linux computer for you.
This is on a $99 dollar pledge gets you a 16 core simple Board simple computer with hdmi, sd cards slot etc running on ubunto.
sent a message to Adapteva about their so called super computer to find out if it can play 1080p with ubunto mentioning if i could plug my 1080p projector into it, they replied with this.:

We are working on finalizing the HDMI resolution spec, stay tuned.

Link for it is here http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/adapteva/parallella-a-supercomputer-for-everyone?ref=search

Would like to hear your thoughts on this as i have little experience with Linux.

probably uses more than 5W, but you can get it now.

Currently, the biggest limitation to the miniaturisation of computers is the size of the ports. The size of the physical connection will have to be shrunk, especially the LAN port, as there are already smaller USB and HDMI ports available.
