Make sure ALL open PCI slots in the case are covered with blank covers, else cockroaches get inside your HTPC, poop and pee on your motherboard and ruin your day.

(BTW, urine is conductive) mad.gif

P.S. Yes, I was able to clean it off and my HTPC is back up and running, but not without a lot of cussing.

Yup. Texas gulf coast. We get the big 3" flying roaches down here, and they DO bite!

How you been, Quantum? Been a while.

Yuck. I've been bad about leaving slots uncovered. Usually I've just gotten some dust bunnies and cobwebs, but once I found a dead spider and a couple of Good-n-Plentys. Now I use mesh style covers borrowed from a different case. Glad you got it all cleaned up!
