hi

I read somewhere that raspberry pi can play smooth bluray then I thought Radxa is much more powerful

so i bought one to play my 20GB mkv files

GPU Mali400-mp4@533Mhz, OpenGL ES 2.0
CPU ARM Cortex-A9 quad core @ 1.6Ghz
Memory 2GB DDR3 @ 800Mhz
Storage 8GB Nand Flash, Micro-SD SDXC up to 128GB

it has android on it with xbmc but it cant play my videos(not even 2 GB .mkv files) so much lag and bad quality

whats the problem?can it be fixed or spec is not enough? should i return it?

help plz.

not sure where hw accel is for xbmc in android, but a cursory search shows that gpu has been supported for a year in experimental builds with a modified advancedsettings.xml

you would need to verify your build version includes this and you are using the proper video settings.

there will be more people in the xbmc forums that can help with this.

You need to install the Gotham version of XBMC to get GPU decoding. Note that Gotham is alpha right now, but works fairly good on Android. I use it on my Minix G4 with good success.

If you don't want to use XBMC, you can install MX-Player and use HW Decoding in it's settings.
