Cool! Thank's Peter. It would have been cool to be able to see the actual border of the screen itself but I think I understand what is going on. It is really simple; but then again so am I .

Presumably, this process of zooming and image shifting could be programmed into a remote and made a single button/command option?

How do you keep the constant height of the video when zooming out to 2.35 from 16:9?

The projector is carefully positioned at the dual aspect ratio range.

When you hit the end of zoom up you are at 2.40, when you zoom to the other end you get 1.77. there is 5" of shift up and down that need correcting every time you hit these bookend positions. These are macros.
