I haven't even tried the CB3 HD's analog bypass with stereo SACD and I have no plans to. Why would I, when I have the Gen VIII Series 3 DAC!

I find the audio to be just fine. I like the HDMI, except for a handshake problem that all HDMI seems to have. A fraction of a second after the music begins, there is a blip from the handshake, And then all is fine. I hope that someday they will get this crap straightened out with HDMI.

Analog is fine as well. At first, I thought there was a slight difference in the bass, but after more careful listening I have doubts there is.

This sounds like the same problem with the Cary Cinema 12. And, for 10K, the Bryston SP-3 should not have this problem.
