I have an original Theta Dreadnaught I for sale in the classifieds, if anyone is interested. It is the more rare original Dreadnaught (that a lot of people favor) - in silver, with 5 x 200W modules - and has the beautiful optional machined aluminum top.

It is absolutely mint condition, in original box, with all accessories. It is also the last Dreadnaught I that Theta made (or so they told me).

I can ship just about anywhere, and can ship to Canada (from within Canada) or the US (from within the US).

Surgery went well. My right hip was totally shocked. I am now in a rehab facility for a while and will be doing aggressive physical therapy

Thanks for your concern

My right hip replacement was a week ago today. I'm in a skilled nursing facility getting physical and occupational therapy. Here I thought that my Casablanca IV was fantastic. Even without having used DIRAC yet. But my new right hip is the best ever. I've had some tightness but no real pain as far as I am concerned even with aggressive therapy. I'll probably be back home between this Wednesday and next Monday. I miss my Theta gear i'm really feeling great

SteveB,

Recover quickly and fully! I've been quiet here of late, busy with other things...

Why not let "thebland" borrow your CB4 until you recover?

I would much rather lend it to you than the Bland! but I am home and I'm using my CB4 so the only person I will lend it to myself!

I am doing physical therapy three times a week probably for many months. I had a bad right hip so long that after the hip replacement I have been walking still favoring my previously injured right side - inotherwards my left leg looks several inches shorter than my right leg. But it isn't. I'm used to leaning my left hip to compensate for my right hips. I think it will take some months physical therapy and dedication to strengthen my muscles and get my walk back to normal

So for the next several last my emphasis will be on tweaking my body and just using my audio video system in my spare time!

I feel fantastic - hip is great!!!@@@@

Enjoying my system right now, not tweakin'!!!@@@

What's the good of having an audio & video hobby if you can't sit back and enjoy and never stop tweakin'?????

Can the volume be 'set' to a certain level when you power on, or a different power up volume for each imput?
Anyone know?

Set up, then number 2 (Global), then number 5 (Mute/Volume).
Then you could set up initial volume level on turn-on, max volume level so you don't blow "things" up by sitting on the remote accidentally, mute volume (total silent mute, vs. whisper mute), and how you could un-mute by volume button as well as mute button.

Set up, then number 2 (Global), then A-D (Global again), takes you to a second page, where you could set up how long before the display dim to 1/4 brightness, as well displaying mode change message, which I have not tried to understand yet. :-)

This is on page 78 and 79 of the CBIII HD manual, according to my own table of content that this manual doesn't have. (My table of content would be available for other Theta owners, except my handwriting is horrific and therefore I am afraid will cause headache and/or blindness to readers more than anything else. I don't understand my own handwriting sometimes. )

I have two questions for anyone here who owns the Compli Blu or Compli Blu 3d. Does Netflix stream in Dolby Digital 5.1 or is it just stereo? And is the Berlin Philharmonic available (as it is with the latest Oppo firmware)?

Thanks

I have the Theta Compli Blu 3D, also an Amazon Fire.

The Compli Blu 3D only seems to play PCM stereo on Netflix. But the Amazon Fire will play Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital, or PCM stereo, depending on the program's audio coding. On the other hand, the Amazon Fire on Flixster only plays PCM stereo - the Compli Blu 3d has Vudu, which plays Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital, or PCM stereo, depending on the program's audio coding.

For the NC1200 Hypex module which forms the basis for the amp, the figures may be found here, on page 3: http://www.hypex.nl/docs/NC1200_datasheet.pdf

Thanks. And for the Citadel, does anyone know if this >103dB unweighted is bandwidth limited to 20kHz, 80kHz or some other level?
