Is the "Cinema Sonic Processor" still needed with a Stewart micro-perf? It seems that modern pre-pros with advanced room correction/EQ should be able to achieve the same result. Thoughts? (I'll be using an Integra DHC 80.3 prepro)

They may not be needed, but in order for Stewart to maintain their THX license, they have to include at least one. Most of the installations I've seen toss them aside.

Thanks Pete. Makes me feel better about letting the pre/pro handle the job. Here's a pic of my new screen!

I've always been advised to save the box, but that one could present some challenges!
