Impressive, but then again when considering the era, my early 80's, Alpine based, 4-way multi-amped system, w/ribbon HF, Alpine mid and midwoofer, and 10" dual-coil sub,...all in a '76 Chevette was too eek.gif

Combining the extreme cabin gain in the bottom octaves, and high clarity nearfield bass with a total absense of modal influences until the upper bass, all factors elicited a phenomenally tight and deeply extended response for the era. That, was great fun.
