Oh BTW, the reason for going with HTM1D instead of a 3rd 800D was because it would require a perforated screen and mine was not (a 2.40 curved Stewart 130" wide). A perforated screen is the best option regarding HT speaker positioning however there are other compromises yo have to make plus a totally different build and enough space behind the screen as well. I had the HTM1D raised and inclined so I managed to bring it as close as possible to the 800Ds and it honestly worked beautifully no complains there.
You are aware though that B&W offers the CT800s which are much better suited for dedicated home cinema (stronger tweeters I guess as well) and much more customizable with active crossovers. Lot's of money though and was once quoted for a full system more than $240K:eek:!
