Wondering if anyone is familiar with this unit. I have had one for about 8 years and it has performed flawlessly. Just moved it to a new house, and am having some problems, specifically a "hum" from the unit when I don't ever remember there being one. I am hoping someone can answer a few questions...

What color is the front light when on?
Does anyone have a copy of the manual?
Has anyone ever heard a "buzzing" from the unit?

Looking for help.

BTW: the front light seems to flicker purple.

Thanks

Peter

1. Light is orange/red when viewed straight on (it's recessed and if viewed from an angle looks almost yellow but at eye level it's an orange/red

2. I'm pretty sure I have it but would need to locate it.

3. It has a faint buzz when your ear is right next to the unit but not outright loud

Let me clarify -

From a distance the light is a pale blue but if you look directly at it from a few inches away, behind the "lens" is an orange/red "element." I know it sounds crazy - difficult for me to explain.
