I'll tell you oz, I've spent some time really figuring out optimal calibration and tweaks with the 151, and workarounds for some firmware issues, that's it's just sounding awesome right now, especially with the new Parasounds. I'm hoping Mcintosh can fix a few thing I've passed to them, but still waiting to hear back.
I'll try to put together some guidelines and post here next week to see if it helps some get optimal performance.
It's sounding so good I'm less compelled to try the 8802 despite my itch to try something new to compare. Of course, I'm not looking to move past 7 channel right now, and I think you are, so your need/urge may be different.
What would re-pique my interst is if Atmos and DTS:X are the new decoders for legacy TrueHD and DTSMAHD as well, and if so, do the new decoders create an improved surround bubble even for 7 channels, either through better placement, steering, etc.
