I agree with you again, this is usually not the forum people will appreciate the higher end 2 channel gear. Any experience or opinion shared with comparison on SQ on this forum and you will be gunned down by fanatics bias to the brand they support, own or represent, but hopefully their are also open minded people who appreciate the different views. At the end of the day Audio is subjective even down to Sound quality.

You have some very fine amplifiers, if you dont mind me asking which is your favorite amp and pre-amp?

At this level of products I really love them all . The different between each brand only sound character but they all excellent . At this price point people not only listening on which sound they like but they will also selected from which designed they love to live with

I'm a hard core two channel and a hard core multi-channel guy.

It's very, very, impressive when the 2D remapping function is used with a 2ch source with "Stereo" selected as the playback target. In my setup all 11.4 speakers fire to (re)create a perfect stereo image, and that's in heavily treated/engineered room where the L and R speakers are in the exact right locations.

That being said, I also use a VTL 7 series pre-amp in a purist two-channel mode on occasion. It's "different and special" but not "better".

That's interesting, most die hard 2 channels guys don't use room correction. I say most....as I have seen some show demos that did employ some form of room correction but that was mostly to integrate multiple subwoofers into the setup.

Possibly to avoid any forms of AD DA conversion which could degrade the signal. Unless the RC is being done in the Digital Domain.

After living with the STORM AUDIO: ISP 3D.32(Analog) a few days , for my ear it create sound in each channel very good , the sound ambient and sound movement was perfect in both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X but the new AURO 3D codecs will be available in March. Yes, that was Wireworld silver HDMI cable.

You have both processors Trinnov and Storm what do you feel about the sound quality, steering, setup procedures, usability and so forth of each processor and lastly which one just felt overall more liking to your taste?

Compare both within 16 channels install the sound quality and steering are almost the same. Concerning the setup procedure STORM does much more user friendly but for those who are professional TRINNOV has more function to dealing with . If the total channels count more than 16 then TRINNOV might be better but for my ear the Duplicate channel on STORM work well enough and I can still enjoy 32 channel install in my 6x9x3.5 m room size.

For LCR I will have 3 choice ALCONS AUDIO (Floor stand) , QUESTED ( On wall behind screen) and PROCELLA (Floor stand , will install later this month) . The other channel surround , height channel and ceiling channel are mixed all 3 brands.

Indeed popular, I would have to wait through two demo's, standing in line for that long is not something my back would take. Only 9 people at a time.

BenQ, nope.

Those Alcons look different from what I see at ISE, and in Peter's projects?

If I wasn't stuck attending the needs to my other business projects, I would have visited Storm in ISE and Belgium. ISE this year looked great.

Why all the different model Quested side speakers? It just doesn't look like like they are placed with their spl capabilities in mind is why I'm perplexed. Maybe there is more to it that I'm missing but curious since my setup is very similar- LCR custom LT20s triple active, heights LT10s, widths LT10s, then still trying to arrange the rest based on their coverage and spl capabilities to reach the MLP in a three row theater.

Nice stuff though!!!

Maybe he does not need very high SPL. I don't think everyone enjoys watching movies are bleeding ear levels. I know iv had complaints by people in the demo rooms.

Yeah Walter refused to play at Peter volume levels, at ISE, lol. I doubt I could have stand that though. 117dB on subwoofer and 103dB (-2dB on Dolby Reference Level) was plenty for me. That exploding oilrig scene (need notes for title, apparantly it is famous demomaterial;-)) made my pants flap.

Boonyarat, you are in India? is this the only place BenQ has started selling the projectors and list prices were announced sofar? Don't think BenQ started selling/shipping in Europe or US yet. Acer did start, I was told. 500000 Rs for the X12000 350000 Rs for the W11000 MSRP. Is the equivalent of 5K $/€ for the 11000.

I'm in Thailand and BenQ W11000 was official sale here for month @ 249,000 Thai Baht MSRP or about $7,100 .
