New for me, thank you. I had a feeling we would see something like this.

Looks like they update the main HEMC page as well to list new movies in the download!

Nice idea... really appreciate it.

To really shine they need to finish:

1. On/Off from app or net commands to turn on / off the device so we can control it from IRule or other remote.
2. Vibe only if movie not MFX coded.
3. Automatic update option. (Really surprised this is not in, fairly easy to do since this is an internet enabled device.)

I still don't understand how the subscription works on the HEMC since anyone can just download the update.

Can you turn this off with the HEMC? Personally, I like it to vibrate on sync unless I am having an issue and I lose sync mid-movie. I can see the HECM doing that more and it can be annoying.

100% agree with you on your other points.

Not quite sure what you mean by turning it off. If the movie is sync'd you can turn vibration off. I'm thinking of using it like a Buttkicker when the movie is not in the list... Currently, if the unit does not sync, it is just a dead piece of equipment in the room.

I'm not really having any issues with sync... I've tried many movies, the unit finds them very fast. In fact, noticed that during the opening scene of Sin City, the IPad app actually found 1 or 2 other movies first, before it settled on Sin City...

Sorry, I misunderstood your 1st post. You were referring to audio mode.

I have a theater full of 352s and nobody complains. But I didn't have much choice because I bought the first one used and matched the future purchases. I don't know what the piston issue is, might be valid, but I don't know any better I guess. And I put 3 chairs of those in myself.
