I'll just reiterate the news that Theta has scrapped HDMI in the CB series processors and he'll be back to rebut it.

Steve, if you post, do you know a good attorney so we can sue you for making false statements?

Joking aside, I hope whatever you are dealing with is not an extreme situation and are resolved quickly.

Hi mark,
Is Steve permitted to receive phone calls? And if yes, is he permitted to talk, or just listen?

Steve's problem is not unique. Wives often feel neglected when their husbands are glued to the computer for hours at a time in another room.

My solution to this problem was to buy a laptop with WIFI connection. I can sit with the Mrs. and watch TV, talk etc., while looking at the computer on my lap. She gets the attention that she deserves, I get to play without feeling her anger.

I know how to get Steve to post again with this news:

Steve: I have come out of early retirement and resumed Moderator duties in response to request in the format battle forums (I know, I know I am a glutton for punishment)

Early retirement was nice and peaceful, but I was needed: I have 5 more years to go before my actual retirement at age 65

It's my experience that people who announce their departures are back faster than those who don't.

(A lot like band break ups and subsequent reunion tours...^_^)

Got back about twelve hours earlier than expected.

This past week I was occupied without computer access as I was using double blind protocols and attempting the following tweak to see if it worked:

http://www.machinadynamica.com/machina60.htm

We alternated listening sessions, using this teleportation tweak, and not using it. Setting up the double blind protocols and testing was exhaustive as we did it for each part of my system, and we tested each part of my system.

As for the result - the last two days, I've written a treatise discussing my
double blind work and findings. Its copyrighted. $10 cost. If you want it, private message me and I'll give you my address to send the funds.
_______________________

Yea, my wife read you guys here at AVS and insisted that before I ever buy anything else for my home theater, that I have to double blind test EVERYTHING. Now my whole life almost will be consumed doing this. Thanks a lot folks.

The information would be a lot better if you charged $1000 for it. It obviously couldn't be that good if it is only $10. I would apply the new "Greenback Technology" and it will make everything better.

What you don't know is that free with the Teleportation tweak came the $$$ Multiplier, which multiplies that $10 into $1,000!!!@@@
