Since the collective surge protection IQ in the AVS forum is probably reading this post, I might as well ask the question here.
I am currently sharing one circuit between my one monoblock poweramp and a PS audio powerplant premier (PPP) which has all my low power components plugged in. I have the poweramp and the PPP plugged into a brickwall surge protector. Would my PPP (and attached components) be at higher surge damange risk if I went straigth into the wall? The brickwall has a hardwired low grade powercord, so I figured I might get some improvement if I bypassed it, but I don't want to risk have my PPP (or worse) blown up.
