Because of my unusual setup, I have no choice but to go in-wall center speaker and in-ceiling front left and right speakers. I know the negatives associated with this based on the comments in another thread I started.
My question though relates to the Polk speakers I will be using for this setup:
(A) Assuming that I were to use the RC80i in-ceiling speakers for the front left and right speakers, could I use the TC65i in-wall for the center speaker, even though it is not the same line? (the RC85i does not appear to be an option for the center speaker since it, unlike the TC65i, is sold only in pairs).
(B) If I were to use the TC65i in-wall for my center speaker, would my system sound much better if I upgraded the in-ceiling front left and right speakers from the RC80i up to the TC60i (which I understand are not only higher end, but would be the same line as the center speaker).
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
