Hi,

This is just a note to let all of you know that the AV123 Forum and e-mail system is down due to a technical problem at our hosting company.

Our phones are working, and we are happy to talk with you. You can reach us at 877-543-7500, or in Colorado at 303-543-7500.

We hope to be back to normal later today.

Thank you!

Jess Quintana
AV123 Representative
Parker, Colorado.

Do you know how rough it's been having to actually work today instead of tooling around on the AV123 forum? Geesh.....

Jess what is the ETA on the fix for the forums? It's been terrible at work without it today.

What the Hell can make a website go down for 24 hours? Jeeze, it's not like they're trying to sell product on it or something.....!

Here's a thought, with all the whining that's been going on at the forum recently maybe Mark is "teaching a lesson" and showing what it would be like if he just shut it down! (Not that I'd blame him!)

It went down about 8 AM this morning. We are waiting for resolution of our technical problems. We have computer specialists working on the system.

Our phones, are up, and it is business as usual.

Give us a call if you are lonely!

They (AV123) have been knocked off the net by hackers before. It wouldn't surprise me if that is the cause again, though it could simply be a hardware/software/technical issue.

I hope the website and forum are back up as soon as possible.

Wouldn't this hurt his business though? Not everyone that goes to AV123 goes to the forums, they actually look at the products and purchase.

It takes time...

The company I work for owns vbulletin, and we migrated one of our larger message boards/forums from Rely to vBulletin. Took 72 hours. It's not as simple as turning the site "on" or "off".

Seems to be a DNS issue from what I can tell. Our DNS server can't resolve the IP that av123forum.com is supposed to be pointed at.
