Well, the OP asked the question on a public forum. What are people supposed to do here, tell everyone that their gear is great. What would be the point of that? We should be happy that posters as knowledgable as wiggles even post here to share their knowledge. Instead everyone is so potective of Bose owners here.

BTW, he is right. The 901 is a pretty lousy speaker. Whether the OP is happy with it is not really the point. Its amazing how many people Bose suckers into buying their speakers.

Whether the OP is happy or not is precisely the point. He did not ask for your appraisal of his choice of speaker. He asked for options to drive the speaker. You feel the need to bash the Bose brand at any possible opportunity, whether your opinion is solicited or not.

I'm not going to bash a speaker that I've never heard before regardless of manufacturer.

FYI the street price of a nice set of 901s run from 350-570$ depending on condition and whether or not they come with an equalizer.
