I have a chance to get a whole home theater speaker package for 500. The speakers Theater Research TR-1610 and TR-1611 Series. I don't know anything about these speakers was hoping for some input. Are these quality speakers or are they junk? are they worth the $500? are they worth more? please any help would be grand as I have no idea what i'm getting into

DON'T DO IT!!! They are junk speakers. Go to Best Buy, Crutchfield, or a local Audio Video store.

Theater Research is Junk!

If you've got $500 for a system, go with Energy!

And if you need a system with a sub, look at this one...

You get a complete system with 5 years mfrs warranty from an authorized dealer.
