I am currently using Orb mods for 5.1 with mod 2 in center. I am thinking about getting a new center channel speaker. Any recommendation as to center channel (preferably a 8-10 inch bar) that would look good with Orb Spheres around and Pioneer KRP 600M display.

Any ideas ? Budget under $400..

I am not sure if I completely have the setup right. Most of the times, the dialogues get lost in the surround sounds. I have Mod2 in the center & Mod 1s as surround. I have not tried these in my new house yet. I will need to hook it up. Since it is a bigger room, I am looking around to see if there is a center channel I could get and make make front left & right as Mod2.

One other option I am exploring was getting a new set of front 3 and use the current mods as "front high" (left & right mod2) since I ordered a Onkyo Sr607 dolby prologic IIz receiver.

I'd be interested in suggestions for replacement senters as well - I've got the same issue with my Orb Mod2 setup.

I'm wondering if Orb lovers are in love with their size irrespective of the limitations that the divers they use in the all important center channel. Experiment with suggestions here, but a different speaker system with fewer driver compromises may be the ultimate solution for larger areas.

I am so tempted to go Mod 4 because of the pretty looks, but not sure how the performance would be.

I was thinking about Mirage or Definitive Center channels... Any thoughts??
